LO5: Evidence

To create the ball I used the pen tool to make each section of the ball. Once created the shape of the ball I added black to certain sections to make it look like a football. I then started by added gradients to section using a gradient mask. Doing this makes the ball look round. In Illustrator I started to make the camera. Using the circle tool I kept adding sized shapes with different gradients, this gives the effect of a realistic camera, it also adds depth into the logo. To give the lens a glass effect I used a gradient mask with a purple to 0% opacity.

LO2: Moodboard

LO3: Survey Monkey Feedback

There nothing really my peers have picked up on. However, one said to add more colour in. I've thought about it and if I add more colour it is going clash with correct colour scheme I've gone for, it would also effect the idea of that my colour scheme is unbiased as no team has the colour as I have used.

LO3: Summary from Nick Bax

Mr. Bax said that my work was very strong the logos were very clear and clever. He didn't elaborate to much else so in my poison there isn't much to change. However for the advert i'm going to take off the phones and replace with a bigger logo, name and motto. Final I'm going to add the a campaign slogan " The ultimate free football app for your team"

LO2: Flat Plans

The text at the top will be black with a bold Helvetia Neue this is because its very easy to see and easy to read.

The background is a teal blue mixed with a smoke effect to make it look like a fogy night, the teal is a non-bias colour in regards to football. Phones are there to show off the application, the target audience will that this design as they can see what the application looks like while following the conventions.

The ball is white and black to show off the classic convention of a football. The camera is there so that the audience knows that the app is relating to pictures and videos. The Target Audience will like this because it looks good and it will be a easy logo to remember as its simple.

The background is a teal blue mixed with a smoke a effect to make it look like a fogy night, the teal is a non-bias colour in regards to football. The yellow in the background is there to match with yellow coloured text. I’ve used the yellow text so it jumps of the page and brings the audience in also a lot betting companies have the yellow in and they advertise on the app and the target audience ( Males age 14-60 how like football) will like this as it follows conventions. The name and logo is there for brand awareness, the Apple and Google Play store icon are there to tell the audience that is where the apps available.

I used a green football pitch on the business card as it looks good but keeps the football theme, with the shiny tactics to make the card more rememberble. The background is a teal blue mixed with a smoke effect to make it look like a fogy night, the teal is a non-bias colour in regards to football. The person name is yellow because it makes their name stand out, their position is white with 70% opacity as it looks nice and they person looking at it has been brought in by the name. All the other text is in black with a Helvectia Neue as this easy to read. Target audience will like this as it’s professional and very easy to read.

LO1: Analysing Graphic Work: Sports Yapper

Sports Yapper

Purpose -  The reason we have graphic design productions, is so that the audience remembers a brand/product. So that in future the audience will do business with them.

Format -  The format of SportsYapper logo is clean and bold and clever how it looks like chat icon

Content - The logo is green and white, the green is conventional used with sporting apps and they have used white because it stands out more than black. The elongated swoop oh the ‘Y’ and the shape of the text makes a rounded rectangle, which with the addiction of the triangle at the bottom makes it look like a chat icon as it’s a messaging based app.

Style - The style of the logo is very simple and clever with its cross design style but the advert looks outdated and is very plain. the font they use is their own font which is sans-serif italic with a low letter spacing.

Layout -  The Advert has the apps name at the top in green and white so you can separate the too, this it’s self is simple and easy to read and look at. However the background image isn't good you can tell its a stadium but its not very clear, the designer has blurred the image but he’s used the wrong blur as they is many types of blurs. The words “all together now” work visual because they are and odd number of words what are more visually appealing. It also works because its a famous football song.

Intended Audience - The target audience is males 15-40 in the NRS social grades of A,B,C1&C2.

Regulatory Bodies -  According to the Advertising Standards Authority, this advertisement does not cause offence due to there being nothing included which could offend any person. There is nothing in this that promotes offensive content like alcohol or violence.Their logo and brand will also be copyrighted by them in order to keep it as their own.

LO1: Analysing Graphic Work: Sky BET

Sky Bet

Purpose -  The reason we have graphic design productions, is so that the audience remembers a brand/product. So that in future the audience will do business with them.

Format -  The format of SkyBet’s logo in very clean and bold, this is because it stay with conventions of sky logos’.

Content - The contents of the Logo contains a ‘sky’ in the dark blue (as the sky is blue) and ‘BET’ in brilliant red . The font that is used is sans-serif  makes the look modern this because they want to with the times. The colour scheme that is used is a bule, red and white; these are very neutral colours and do not clash so it is easy on the eye for the audience.

Style - The logo itself is simple and can be use almost anywhere like a logo should be. The logo is like the “Sky Sports” which is another production of Sky, this connotes that the betting is to do with sports.

Layout - The house-style follows the “Sky Sports” conventions, with it being a rectangle with the sky in the blue and the other word in red. The font used is ‘SKYfontThink’ which is their own font, this is is plain and contemporary meaning the  brands more easier to remember. The advert is eye catching as the the yellow is very bold, this is because the yellow is the background for the most important part of the advert. The logo has been place cleverly, with the ‘sky’ on the side of the pictures this denotes that the match is on “Sky”(as Sky are a board caster) and the ‘bet’ is on the part about betting, so it’s associated. But putting these together associates the too for the audience as betting is new to ‘sky’. The font and letter-spacing the same through out, however the between the ’T’ and first ‘£’ there is more kerning used this the same for the ‘5’ and ‘G’. Below the yellow text box there is text and arrow saying, “Are you in?”. This is a prompt for the audience to click to take you to the offer.

Intended Audience - The target audience is males 18-60 in the NRS social grades of A,B,C1&C2.

However you have to be over 18 to use these services, they don't have to put this on print but for TV they have to and betting aware banner.
